The Society was formed to rescue Foxcote Manor from Barry Scrapyard. Five decades later, it still owns the locomotive and leads the work needed to keep No. 7822 operating.
- 1974
The Society secures Foxcote Manor from Barry Scrapyard.
- 1975
Foxcote returns to Oswestry and volunteers begin the restoration.
- 1987
The locomotive returns to steam after years of volunteer work and fundraising.
- 2016
Foxcote becomes the first Manor Class locomotive to reach Corwen in 51 years.
- Today
The Society is renewing the boiler and preparing No. 7822 for its next chapter.
